United Way of Effingham County is beginning preparations for the upcoming campaign. It’s been 3 years since they were able to have the kick-off luncheon, but they are anxiously awaiting for this in-person event. The kick-off luncheon will be held on Tuesday, August 30th for those businesses interested in conducting an employee campaign.
Dieterich Bank has been selected as the 2022 “Lead Pacesetter” company and will speak at the meeting and share their success stories and plans for their upcoming campaign. Funds raised from the 2022 campaign will help 18 local partner agencies provide support and services to those in Effingham County. Meeting will begin at Noon at the Effingham Event Center. Niemerg’s Steakhouse will cater the luncheon.
