United Way of Effingham County is EXCITED to announce that they recently submitted an application, and was fortunate to be selected to receive one of the 400 bottles from Buffalo Trace Distillery from the 6 millionth barrel! United Way of Effingham County was selected to receive a bottle from all the applicants across the US, and received bottle #288 of #400.
A limited number of tickets will be sold for a chance to win this commemorative item! Only 200 tickets will be sold at $50 each. To purchase a ticket please contact the United Way office at (217) 342-3824 or contact a United Way Board Member. Drawing will be held on or before December 18th! You must be 21 years old to purchase a ticket.
This commemorative item contains; a bottle of Buffalo Trace whiskey from the 6 millionth barrel that has a handwritten description on it and comes packaged in a hardwood box that includes a piece of stave from the 6 millionth barrel and a brochure explaining the significance of this historic barrel!

United Way of Effingham County recently held the 2019 United Way Witches Ball. The event was held on October 4th at the Thelma Keller Convention Center. This Halloween themed event featured dinner, music and silent and live auction items and a costume contest.
